While it's easy to feel tucked away within our quiet, suburban community - Summerlake's location, in the heart of Hampton Roads, provides many avenues for recreation, adventure, exploration, and education. Below are some area highlights for those newer to the community or great kick-starters if you're having trouble deciding what to do this weekend. Take some time to explore what's right outside your door.

There is also the opportunity to enroll in one of the magnet programs.
These programs focus on the performing arts, aviation, and international studies as well as on math, science and technology. High School students can also apply to enroll in the International Baccalaureate program at Warwick High School.
